- For a thorough assessment and for many treatments, your Physiotherapist will need to expose the area to be assessed. You may wish to wear a pair of shorts when attending with lower back or leg problems; for women, you may wish to wear a vest top for shoulder or neck problems. If you are not comfortable with this please discuss with your Physiotherapist. You are more than welcome to bring a chaperone with you for any appointment.
- Physiotherapy treatment techniques may include, but are not limited to: manual techniques, manipulation, electrotherapeutic modalities, acupuncture and exercise. These may be recommended at various stages of your treatment. Benefits and potential side effects of any treatment will be explained by your Physiotherapist. Should you have any questions or concerns about any recommended treatment, please inform your Physiotherapist immediately so they can answer your concerns or adjust your treatment accordingly.
- Payments to Perth Physio Clinic are your responsibility. If your claim is to be submitted to an outside agency for payment (such as insurance company or employer), and for any reason the third party payer fails to pay the full amount due, you are responsible for payment.
- Should you fail to attend for an appointment or cancel an appointment with less than 24 hours notice, you are liable to pay the full amount of the appointment. Please note, certain insurance companies/ third party payers do not pay for missed appointments therefore you would be liable for the full amount of the appointment.
