I qualified with an MSc in physiotherapy in 2012 having first completed a degree in biological sciences in 2009. I am a member of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy and registered with the Health and Care Professions Council.

I started my career as a rotational physiotherapist in the NHS, working first in Forth Valley Royal Hospital and then Perth Royal Infirmary. I completed rotations in medicine for the care of the elderly, MSK outpatients, respiratory physiotherapy and finally paediatric physiotherapy. Once completing this rotation I knew that I wanted to specialise in paediatric physiotherapy, having loved working with children and their families. I then began my career as a paediatric physiotherapist in NHS Fife.

My work with children is varied, involving treating musculoskeletal problems, developmental delay, as well as providing physiotherapy for children with neurological conditions. I thoroughly enjoy working with young people and their families to ensure the best outcome following treatment.

Outside of work I enjoy skiing, I am always hoping for some snow on those Scottish hills! I go running when I can, with my collie to keep me company…she makes the whole experience a bit more enjoyable! Otherwise I love spending time with my family, exploring all the soft play areas in Fife with my daughter.
